October was National Disability Employment Awareness Month. While POTJ offers information and resources for employment year round, we’d like to take this opportunity to share information regarding NDEAM that you may have missed last month!
What is NDEAM? National Disability Employment Awareness Month is a chance for us to remember and recognize all the important contributions made by people with disabilities in the workforce.
Why is NDEAM important? It’s important to remember how hard people with disabilities have had to fight for their rights to employment and independence! By celebrating NDEAM, we remind others to think about ways that they can make their workplaces more inclusive and accessible for ALL.
